 HMPV stands for Human Metapneumovirus, a common respiratory virus that causes infections in people of all age groups. It was first identified in 2001 but is thought to have been circulating for many years prior. HMPV is a member of the Paramyxoviridae family, closely related to the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The testing grid consists of information pertaiing to the list of testing facilities that are conducting HMPV testing.
